Weekly Glance (Monday, December 13th - Sunday, December 19th, 2010)

Had a pretty good week at school - no timeouts but one day of rambunctious behavior
Potty has been good however two little accidents this week
Sleeping/napping is all off schedule as we're trying to ween him off naps at school - some days he'll nap at school because he's overtired but then he won't go to bed until late
Bedtime has been a long process because he's so tired yet can't fall asleep before 10pm
Decorated our Christmas tree on Monday night
Played Wii with Daddy
Went grocery shopping with Mommy on Thursday
Had a good night on Thursday but it was just long because he kept stalling bedtime (at least without fighting)
Watched Polar Express for the first time & Rudolph again on Friday night
Went to soccer with Mommy Saturday morning (after a rough morning of not listening/whining)
Soccer class was fun - only Connor & Alexander were there and did a lot of running (however Coach Jorge did have to pull Alexander aside three times for not listening)
After soccer, Alexander & Mommy went to the craft store to pick up some crafts for all of the kids at Uncle Steven's
Headed to Steve & Carolyn's for the C Family Christmas Bash
Was so good to see everyone and hang out for the day spreading Christmas Cheer
Got to play with all of his cousins - Nick, Chris, Will, Charlotte, Michael & Emily!
Had craft time with all of the cousins and then put it together as a present for Grandma & Pop-Pop
Present time was fun & chaotic...Alexander kept asking "is there more for me?" - Going to have to teach him appreciation sooner
Got to watch cousin Nick's football game from Gillette Stadium on a DVD, Alexander was very excited
Sunday morning, he was the aspiring photographer again taking pictures of the tree and his favorite ornaments
Sunday, Daddy & Alexander went over Steve & Carolyn's to visit before folks head home
He Loves Rudolph! Loves the song and sings it very well! He also likes to be called "Baby Rudolph" and sometimes Mommy is either Cinderella or Clarice (Rudolph's girlfriend)

We had our first ever Christmas Bash with Dan's entire immediate family - Grandma & Pop-Pop, all the kids & their spouses and all of the grandkids! Even Uncle Tony & Aunt Fran joined us for some holiday celebrations!

It was the first time all of us have been in the same place at the same time! And it was a good time for everyone! We were able to get good family shots - one with Grandma & Pop-Pop with all of their grandkids; another group photo with everyone!
Grandma had a moment and gave out ornaments to each of the kids and each of her ornaments was specific to each kid. She asked "which kid likes to go fishing with Dad?" And Alexander raised his hand matter of factly as if to say "yeah, that's me"...it was pretty funny.We had craft time for the kids to help keep them entertained/busy. They made Christmas crafts for Grandma & Pop-Pop. Then it was time for presents (aka - chaos)!

Soccer Season...

Soccer has officially ended for Fall 2010...and it went out with a small whimper!

Only Alexander & Connor showed up for the whole class, and another boy came in for the last 20 minutes. Therefore, Alexander & Connor pretty much had the gym to themselves and made the FOUR coaches work on keeping up with them.The boys did a lot of running and not a lot of listening! However there was one drill that Alexander did very well, technically. If only he could listen more, he'd be fantastic!

Oh Christmas Tree - Part II...

Tonight we decorated our lovely Christmas Tree! Alexander had a hand in helping and he did a great job! He was very excited to put up the ornaments & even more excited to see any ornaments with Rudolph on them!Here he is putting his baby shoes on the treeAnd then he decided to be our official photographer of the evening...and he wasn't half bad!
