Leaving on a Jet Plane...

Daddy has left this morning for a warm destination, far away from the frozen tundra that we currently live in.

Our work is celebrating the 25th Anniversary with a cruise for the whole company from Miami to Cozumel and back. I opted to stay home as I wasn't comfortable with both of us gone, stuck on a boat in the middle of the water. Dan will have a blast and I'll be envious of the warmth, but Alexander & I will certainly miss Daddy.

To help break things up, Alexander & I are going to have a sleep over at Grammie & Grampie's on Saturday. Grammie you bring the blankets, I'll bring the kid!

Cruisin'...

We have a mover & a shaker on our hands. Tonight, Alexander made a big move.

He was standing against the coffee table in our living room and then he reached over to grab the couch. He's never done this before. He quickly turned 180* from the coffee table to the couch and then he decided to walk down the length of the couch. He was quite excited about this too because even before I could clap he leaned against the couch and clapped. It was very cute.

Then he decided to bang his face, repeatedly, into the couch and laugh while doing it. At least it was the couch...
