Let's just say that he was DEVASTATED at the outcome of the game.

Football Fun...

Today Alexander & Mommy went to Mimi & Papi's to watch the Patriots game!  And although it was a nailbiter of a game, the Patriots won by the luck of a missed field goal.

He even helped celebrate a field goal with the appropriate hand motion!

And now the Patriots will face off against the Giants in a Superbowl Rematch...

Go Patriots!

In order to cheer on the Patriots, Alexander & I got dressed in our Patriots garb!  We even made cookies to help celebrate the game!
They were yummmy! And what made it better was that the Patriots defeated Denver and move on to the next round of the playoffs!

Are you ready for some football?

This week, Alexander was quite fortunate to go to Gillette Stadium to watch some High School Football Superbowl games. Cousin Nick's high school team was playing in one of the games so it was very exciting!Daddy & Alexander joined the rest of the clan to watch the big game, Grandma & Pop-pop even came up from NJ to watch Nick/his team play.Upon entering the stadium he was so excited and thought the whole place was HUGE!He was a good trooper and sat through the whole game although by the end of the 2nd half he was a bit antsy to go.

CONGRATS...

The Giants have beaten the near-Perfect Patriots at the Superbowl. The final score 17-14, and it literally came down to the last minute.

Dan is SO excited! When Eli threw the game winning touch down, he let out a loud yelp. I reminded him that we had a sleeping child, so he then ran around our first floor. I opened the door and he ran right outside. I was figuring when outside he could yelp & holla, but he ran right back in. It was quite comical even though the Patriots just lost.

Congrats, Dan! Congratulations to the New York Giants! Job well done...

Pats Fans...

Alexander & I sported our Patriots pride today in honor of the Superbowl! How cute is his jersey!

I was looking for a jersey for him everywhere. I checked 5 stores and many places online. A guy at work was helping me in my search. The one online store we did find had 12 months in stock but I decided to check another store first. But that store had nothing. When I went to go order online, the 12 months were now out of stock - figures!

However, John went to a different store and found one right in the window! So because of John, Alexander was able to get his jersey...

GO PATRIOTS! But regardless of who wins - someone in our house will be happy that their team won! Yeah Football! Currently the Pats are winning 7-3 but it's by no means a landslide...

SuperBowl Bound...

Bring on the SuperBowl!

Not one but both of our household football teams are heading to the Superbowl to go head to head!

New England Patriots vs. New York Giants

Since I am the Patriots fan and Dan is the Giants fan... someone in our house is going to win come Superbowl Sunday! Thankfully this match-up isn't nearly has cut-throat as the baseball competition in our area.

GO PATRIOTS!

Oh and Go Giants...

Here is our little football fan. He was in such a good mood and he looked so cute, we just had to take pictures to show everyone.

Everytime I look at these, I smile because his grin is contagious!
