Wally the Monster...

Alexander got a package in the mail this week - it was a surprise from Mimi & Papi. It's a hat with Wally the Green Monster on it. He loved the hat, and kept wanting to wear it but it's still a wee too big. Soon enough he'll be wearing this everywhere.

Something New...

While Alexander was a baby, it was very easy to put a hat on his head and he would leave it there. But somewhere along the way, he decided he didn't like wearing anything on his head - hood, hat. However he is infatuated with Dan & his hat. Then while we were getting dressed today, he asked me to put on my hat. And then he pointed to another one and he put it on his head.
He was very content to wear the hat so I asked him if he wanted to wear his own hat which he replied with an emphatic yes. So I got his hat and he put it on and looked at himself in the mirror and giggled.
He actually kept the hat on for a long period of time and even wore it when we went out to Target. We were both pretty surprised that he kept it on.
