Christmas JOY...
That's when you know that the presents from Santa were perfect!
Here are some good quotes from Alexander recently
There are some dead trees. Oh I can't look, it's just too sad
Mom, did you see that? I stopped the ball with my penis.
"Oh hey, I have him on my team too"
-Alexander when watching Football and after asking Daddy what he meant when he said he had a player on his fantasy football team.
While driving to Mimi & Papi's, Alexander had a doozy of a quote! We were getting closer to their house and this was our conversation:
Alexander: Are we almost at Mimi & Papi's?
Mommy: Yes, in about 5 minutes
Alexander: Ohhh, I can tell
Mommy: How?
Alexander: Because I can smell Papi
Mommy: What?
Alexander: Because I smell Papi's mustache
Mommy: Oh brother, you are hysterical
Here's a new one....
We were driving to Connor's birthday party and Alexander asked me a question about another driver after I told him they were not paying attention and his comment to me was:
"Well Mom, that's really unaccabub (unacceptable). they should know better"
I almost became the one not paying attention as he had me giggling
Some cute quotes of the week:
Some of his Quotes
Some cute quotes of the week:
Alexander on football:
"Tom Brady plays for the Jets nah nah nah nah I'm just kidding, the Patriots"
"Patriots play on Monday"
Maureen (a little girl in Alexander's class) came darting over to him the morning of class pictures:
"Oh Alexander, you look quite handsome this morning for pictures"
Yet another one of my favorite of this week (he learned from his teachers at school)
Sit down. Close your eyes. Think about it. Raise your hands when you're ready to share with the class.
One of the latest ones that really make me chuckle
Mom, I'm being serious. You need to listen to my directions first.
This week gave us one of the most shocking quote yet...so much so Mommy almost drove off the road.
And the quote was:
"Christopher Columbus said the ocean blue ocean blue ocean blue in 1492"
I was in shock because I had no idea my 3 1/2 year old would know that much about history already. He was asking about trash day and I told him it would be on Thursday of this week due to the holiday. This was the rest of conversation:
Alexander: 'holiday?'
Mommy: 'Yes, we had a holiday this week for Columbus day'
Alexander: 'Columbus?'
Mommy: (wondering how to explain this to him) 'Yes, Columbus ...sailed the ocean blue'
Alexander: 'ohhh ocean blue'
And then he came out with his little ditty of 1492. I was so shocked & amazed that he kept saying it because he knew I was excited.
Here are some of the most recent & adorable quotes:
while at the table having dinner tonight, Alexander said to me in a very serious manner:
This morning, Alexander woke up at 5:30am and ended up coming into our room. Initially I thought that meant he was up for the day, but he ended up falling back to sleep. A little later on, he started to move around and blurted out:
Alexander is growing up & fast! Today's quote shows how different generations are from when we were kids or even 10 years ago:

It's that time again...Quote Time!
A few quotes from this weekend...
One of the funniest/curious things Alexander started doing during vacation is calling Daddy by a new name. He started calling him 'Fadda' out of the blue. Don't really know where it came from but I found it to be hilarious!
We would be at the beach and he would yell out "Fadda, oh Fadda" and then a bit later he would say, loudly, "Fadda I have to go pee".
He called him by that name for the good part of two days and I think the fact that I kept laughing made him say it more. A bit later on he would say "he's the Fadda but you're the Mudda"... Priceless!
Here are additional quotes for your entertainment:
"Mom, where did those brown men go?" - Asked while in Target after two african-american gentlemen purchased cookies in front of us.
"Come on pee" - stating the obvious
It appears that "Quote of the Week" may very well be a consistent topic here on the blog as we had a few funny one-liners this week!
