Swimming Lessons...

Alexander is taking to swimming classes the way fish take to water. He's been fantastic - swimming the entire length of the pool, jumping in without fear, learning to blow bubbles, keeping his mouth shut, & pushing off from the wall.

This week he learned to float on his back and he did so well that he wanted to show the instructor all by himself! She was very impressed, as was Mommy! Pretty soon he'll be swimming without any type of floatation device.

Swim Lessons...

Alexander had his first official swim lessons today and let me just take a minute to brag - he did amazing!! This would be the first time he'd be in a pool without Mommy or Daddy and he did fantastic! He listened to his instructor, Barbara, the whole time. He even had fun jumping into the water! And then by the end he was swimming (scoop/dog paddle) all by himself as he went to get balls that they threw into the water. He had no fear and was quite excited the whole time!
