End of Summer Fun

Today, Sharon & I took the kids to the beach to end the summer the right way - enjoying sun & sand!  Alexander had a blast playing with Chris & Claire.  The water was chilly so Alexander wasn't going swimming but he did get in there a bit when playing catch with Chris. 

It was a really nice day and perfect way to kick off Labor Day weekend.

Sleep Over...

Sunday night, Alexander had a sleep over at Mimi & Papi's so they could bring him to the town beach near their house on Monday.
Monday morning after breakfast, Mimi & Alexander headed over to the playground! Alexander loved climbing by himself & going up high in the swings. After the playground, they headed over to the beach. This was Alexander first visit to a beach! Papi brought him in the water. He loved digging in the sand, making castles. Everyone had a great time!
