Tonight, Alexander & I worked on some potential photos for the annual Christmas Card! Keep your eye on the mail (well unless otherwise noted that the card just didn't work out...)
Fingers crossed that it comes out as we planned!
Here is this year's Christmas Card - inspired by the movie "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation"
Today we held our annual Christmas Card photoshoot. I had high expectations and had a good talk with Alexander about him listening & cooperating. He said he was going to be a good listener.
It didn't start out so good but thankfully with a quick change of scenery he did great!
It's official - our Christmas Card photoshoot was successful & the card has been ordered!
It's official! The photoshoot for our 2009 Christmas Card is complete! I'm pretty excited about our card this year...I think we have a memorable one if I've ever seen one. It's certainly an eye-catcher!
We're ahead of schedule this year so hopefully you won't have to wait long before our card lands in your mailboxes.
Anyone care to take a guess?
Just a little heads up ... the 2008 Christmas Card has been mailed out! I'll post a picture in a day or two once most people have received it...
Good Grief!
By now, everyone should have received their Christmas Card in the mail. With that said, here's a copy of our Christmas Card this year. I didn't hand-make them like I normally do, but trying to set up the picture was almost as time consuming. However, the timing ended up making a perfect card.
I'm so happy with how it came out... 2nd time around's a charm, I guess!
I am quite happy to announce that we took another shot at the christmas card photo tonight once we got home and it came out much better!

I feel so much better. I can't tell you how much it bummed me out that we weren't able to get a good photo yesterday. But all is well. I hope, now, to have the cards out in the mail soon!
All I can tell you is that we set up the scenary, got the outfit on, and decorated as appropriate. And then took pictures for MAYBE 10 minutes before someone decided he didn't want to cooperate anymore. And yes, I'm talking about Alexander.
We're still working on it...but we may have to have a 2nd photoshoot. I will say that I'm bummed we didn't get the perfect money shot but they say never to work with kids & animals...

I'm curious that not one person posted a guess as to what this years' Christmas Card is going to be.
