Day with Daddy...

For Father's Day, Alexander & Daddy had a good, bonding day together!

In the morning & since it was finally nice out, the boys did their typical summer morning routine of walking to Dunkin Donuts and then going to the gazebo to play a bit. After they got home, they got ready to head to the PawSox game with uncle Matt & cousin Michael. They will also meet up with Papi at the stadium for a boys day!The boys had a great day eating hot dogs, peanuts, and french fries! They loved the game however they were getting restless by the 7th inning...so they started to head out but were able to see both Paws & Sox before they left the stadium.Once they got back home, the boys played their own game of baseball in the back yard before it was time for Michael & uncle Matt to head home. Overall, a great day for the boys!Later on, Alexander gave Daddy his presents which consisted of a new fishing pole (apparently Daddy broke his in a tree?) and fishing accessories that Alexander picked out all of it by himself!

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful fathers!

Especially - Daddy, Pop Pop & Papi

Love always,
Alexander

Father's Day Festivities...

Happy Father's Day!

We had nice yet low-key Father's Day festivities today to celebrate the day for Dads!Mimi, Papi & Auntie Alyson came over so we could go for a picnic at the zoo! We packed our lunches and headed over. Alexander was more interested in seeing the Elephants than he was in lunch so we hurried through lunch to get him over to the Elephant. He wanted to go on a ride but the line was a bit long and folks were hot & sticky so we decided to do the merry-go-round and pony rides and then see more animals. After the rides, we played on the playground for a bit. And that's when the clouds rolled in...and fast! We decided to head out when we heard thunder more frequently and that's when the skies opened up! We were drenched pretty quickly and pretty extensively! It was comical!
After we loaded up in the car, sopping wet, we got some ice cream and came back home. For some reason the crazy rain/weather never came to our house and it was still hot out so Alexander played around in the kiddie pool/sprinkler to cool down. Then we did presents & dinner - overall, a nice day for the Dads!

Father's Day...

Today is Father's Day!

Originally, we planned to go to the zoo like we did last year to see the animals & have a picnic. However, Mother Nature had other plans for us. Because it's been rainy & chilly for what seems like an eternity, we had a mini cookout at home.

Because it was Daddy day, Daddy went fishing in the morning while Mommy & Alexander played, read books, painted, and went grocery shopping.
Mimi, Papi & Auntie were coming over but we didn't tell Alexander so that he would actually nap this time. So when he woke up from nap, he had a nice surprise!

Rest of the day was lowkey because of the rain - played inside with trucks, golf, and more painting!

We ate lunch, gave Daddy & Papi their presents, and had some ice cream cake. Overall, a nice yet lowkey day.
Happy Father's Day!

Father's Day Dinner...

After the zoo, we went out to dinner to celebrate Father's Day. We went to the restaurant near us where Alexander likes to flirt with the waitresses. Oh wait, he flirts with girls anywhere we go. But here, the girls flirt back.

Alexander was in a great mood because he took a 2 hr nap before dinner. He got his own plate of grilled cheese & fries and did a good job eating the sandwich and some of the fries.

A few times he got antsy and didn't want to sit in his chair anymore, so Daddy took him over to the bar section where there is a dance floor. Alexander got to run around the dance floor while the waitresses would smile & wave at him.

Then after dinner, we went back to our house to open presents. Alexander helped Daddy & Grampie open their presents and then it was off to bed wearing his "I love Dad" pjs. Overall, a very nice Father's Day.

Trip to the Zoo (Father's Day )...

This past Sunday was Father's Day, in the morning Daddy got some time in where he could go fishing. Then Grampie & Daddy decided that they wanted to spend their special day at the zoo. It wasn't the greatest weather as it was a bit on the chilly side but everyone still had fun.

I think it helped that we went recently so Alexander was very excited when he saw animals, however I won't lie and say that he wasn't more excited about the lion carved out of wood than the real one. Grammie took him on his first poney ride and he seemed to get a kick out of it towards the end. I wasn't sure if he'd like it or not but he seemed fine, no tears were shed!

Of course, Alexander saw the slide at the playground and immediately headed over - he got immense joy from going down the slide.

Father's Day

Today was Dan's first Father's Day and it was a very nice, lowkey day. My parents & Alyson came over for a mini-BBQ and to hang out with Alexander.

We even had some ice cream cake which Alexander really had his eye on.
Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's out there!

We also had a giggle fest where he wouldn't stop smiling & laughing. It was the most precious moment. The kind where you want to freeze time.
I dare you to find me a cuter baby - look at his smile and find me a cuter baby! :)
