Day with Daddy...

For Father's Day, Alexander & Daddy had a good, bonding day together!

In the morning & since it was finally nice out, the boys did their typical summer morning routine of walking to Dunkin Donuts and then going to the gazebo to play a bit. After they got home, they got ready to head to the PawSox game with uncle Matt & cousin Michael. They will also meet up with Papi at the stadium for a boys day!The boys had a great day eating hot dogs, peanuts, and french fries! They loved the game however they were getting restless by the 7th inning...so they started to head out but were able to see both Paws & Sox before they left the stadium.Once they got back home, the boys played their own game of baseball in the back yard before it was time for Michael & uncle Matt to head home. Overall, a great day for the boys!Later on, Alexander gave Daddy his presents which consisted of a new fishing pole (apparently Daddy broke his in a tree?) and fishing accessories that Alexander picked out all of it by himself!

Saturday Fun...

Today was so nice we decided to make the most out of it and try to spend as much of it outside as possible!

We headed to Castle Island to see the planes, boats & water! Plus, Mommy could enjoy the skyline! We enjoyed some lunch from Sullivan's and had to fight the crazy seagulls off who wanted our lunch. We prevailed! After lunch, we walked around the Sugarbowl and then got some ice cream. After Castle Island, which had a chilly wind, we headed down to Pawtucket to check out a PawSox game. This will be Alexander's 3rd PawSox game this season! We got some general admission tickets and hung out in the outfield lawn. Alexander had a blast - from eating peanuts, singing Take Me Out to the Ballgame (which is on video), and going to see Sox (a mascot) again! He did inform us that Paws (the boy mascot) likes to hide because we can never find him.

Here he is SoxAnd Mommy & Alexander chillin' on the lawn
All tuckered out (yet he was faking it)

Overall, it was a great day & we enjoyed the nice weather!

PawSox Game...

After honoring our troops, what's the next best way to celebrate Memorial Day?? A baseball game of course! He was so good, standing still, with his hand up for the National Anthem. We went to the Pawtucket Red Sox game and Alexander had an absolute blast! He got to see Sox (the female pup and she even signed a ball for him!)...we did look for Paws but he was a sneaky little pup and we never found him on the concourse. In true baseball fashion, he had a hot dog, peanuts, french fries & popcorn! And seemed to want more!
He loved sitting there with his glove waiting for any fly balls...there were at least a half dozen or so that came near us but not close enough for us to bring one home.
