Boys Day...

Today, Alexander & Papi spent the day together - their very own boys day!

They woke up, watched a little tv before they helped the guys working on Mimi & Papi's basement. Then they headed out for a yummy breakfast where Alexander ate very well (eggs, sausage & toast). After breakfast, they went to Papi's work for a bit.

In the afternoon, they headed to the library where Alexander picked out a very cool book about baseball. And then in the baseball mood, they went back to Mimi & Papi's house where they played Wii baseball until Mommy came!

Papi's Birthday...

Today is Papi's birthday - 10/10/10! He should play the lottery or something...

For Papi's birthday, the plan was to go out to brunch, come back to our house to relax/play outside, then have dinner and do presents & cake. Well brunch was so filling to everyone, no one could even think of dinner! Let's just say there was a lot of food - breakfast, lunch, omelets, waffles, muffins, & cake! The food was never ending...

So after some quality baseball & tag, we relaxed a bit and then did presents! After presents, we sang Happy Birthday & had some cake!

Birthday Celebration...

Today, after their trip to the Topsfield Fair, we had an ice cream cake & we sang "Happy Birthday" for Papi's Birthday.

Alexander did a fantastic job singing and then helping Papi blow out the candles!

Weekend with Mimi & Papi...

Mommy & Daddy went to Boston for the night to celebrate Daddy's birthday and Alexander went to spend the night with Mimi & Papi.

He did a great job of making his own peanut butter & jelly sandwich, with minimal help.

While there he did some arts & crafts, vacuumed & played with his new drum set from 'Ahnee'. He also went to the toy store and the mall with Mimi. The first time the two of them have gone on an excursion by themselves.

Thankfully, he also slept well. Woke up at 5am but then fell back to sleep with Mimi until 6:45am! I'm just happy he slept well because I would hate to have him wake up at 4am when someone else is watching him.
