Notice to Retail Stores...

Attention: Retail Stores

It is only mid-October. Why oh why is most of your winter inventory gone already? And why are the items that are left looked like they were picked over by a gaggle of geese?

Do you realize it's not officially winter yet? Why do I have to worry about winter jacket/snow pants/hats/glove/boots before mid-October? And what happens if he outgrows something mid season?

Could you learn to keep your inventory a bit more replenished in the Northeast Region? Afterall, we do have longer winters.

Today, I picked Alexander up from school and I noticed the pile of snow pants & boots. Then I looked over and saw the hats, & mittens hanging up to dry. I was trying to figure why they were all there, afterall it was FREEZING today no way would they go outside.

Well, I was wrong.

They went outside.

Seriously? Really? They think that's a good idea - bringing kids out in 12 degree temperatures. HELLO - it was below freezing! It was so cold just going from the car into work, I can't imagine actually bringing kids outside in this. And items of clothing were wet which leads me to believe that it wasn't a quick "here's some fresh, freezing air" but they walked around their 'block'.
