Weekly Glance...
Weekly Glance (Monday, February 7th - Sunday, February 13th, 2011)
- Had a good week at school - not nearly as much talking back this week although there was a bit (probably due to napping schedule)
- Napping schedule was off - his teachers said he desperately wanted naps, sometimes even begged for one. Interesting...he never does that at home.
- The days he napped at school, he had problems going to bed (late bedtime, stalling, whining)
- Days he did not nap - bedtime was easy
- Sleeping was pretty good this week (despite the few bedtime issues)
- Did a little valentine's day photoshoot but at the end he just wanted to wear his superman costume
- Went grocery shopping with Mommy
- Had a very busy Saturday - Saturday morning we headed to gymnastics
- He did a great job at gymnastics - listened to his teachers, practiced on the high beam, flipped on the bars, and pulled himself up on the rings
- After gymnastics, we came home for lunch and to get ready for Marina's birthday
- Saturday afternoon, we went to Kirk & Deanna's for Marina's birthday
- Alexander & Marina had a great time playing with each other and wore each other out s0 that Alexander fell asleep in the car on the way home (easy bedtime!)
- Sunday morning was a lowkey morning
- After some lunch, Daddy & Alexander went to their first live production show of "Aladdin & Friends" with Matt & Michael (a local production of young kids) - the kids had a blast
- After the show, the boys went to Matt's for a bit so Alexander & Michael could play together (basketball, football)
- Family dinner, tubby & a good bedtime to round out the week!
- Woke up at 6a on Saturday and 6:30am on Sunday!
- Only obstacle, but it's around bedtime, is that Alexander has a tendency to take everything out of his drawers and throw it around his room. Guess he didn't read the OCD Mommy handbook

Gymnastics - week 3
Alexander had gymnastics Saturday morning & did a great job! Gymnastics is a great activity for him - it keeps him engaged & interested. Plus, he listens to his teachers and doesn't run around when he shouldn't. This week they did more practice on the bars and he spun around.
And he's getting better about holding himself up on the rings too!
Birthday Celebrations...
Today we went to a birthday party for Marina! Alexander was so excited to go see her!
What made it cuter was that once Marina realized Alexander was at her house, she was just as excited wanting to play with him!
They really are two peas in a pod! She loves him and he's so good with her!

Weekly Glance...
Weekly Glance (Monday, January 31st - Sunday, February 6th, 2011)
- Had an OK week at school
- Was Star of the Week at school - got to read his book "Hello Wally" and show off his pictures
- Although he's better with screaming and running at school, he's now starting the lovely phase of talking back (Whining & talking back are my two least favorite things)
- Early dismissal on Tuesday due to snow storm
- Snow day with Mommy on Wednesday
- Stayed inside on Wednesday has he found it to be too snowy & too chilly to play outside
- Helped Mommy vacuum & make hot chocolate
- Played football & baseball
- Went to Stop & Shop with Mommy on Thursday - loves picking out fruit!
- Did have an incident with some wipes, his nighttime pull-up and a big mess...but I'm looking at the positive that he did try to clean up
- Fell asleep in the car on the ride home on Friday...comment to Daddy "I just can't stay awake any longer"
- We couldn't wake him up that night so we put him to bed at 6:30pm (and we payed for it)
- He woke up at 1:20am and was ready to go - he wanted to watch tv.
- We let him go play in his room, do puzzles, read books but he wanted us to play with him, then he wanted to cuddle...it was a very long 4 1/2 hours before he fell back to sleep
- Saturday morning, Mommy & Alexander went to gymnastics which he loved
- After gymnastics, we had a lunch date & then ran some errands at Target
- Played Wii Football with Daddy in the afternoon
- Family dinner followed by some books & a pretty decent bedtime (before 9pm)
- Sunday morning, woke around 2:30am to cuddle with Mommy. Thankfully fell back to sleep until 6:30a
- Hung out with Daddy for their morning time
- Mimi & Papi came over to visit with Alexander for the afternoon
- They played cars, superheros, football, baseball
- After some tubby & dinner, Alexander relaxed a bit and then played some more football with Daddy before bedtime
- Did a great job sleeping in bed all week (not including the weekend)
- Bedtime is better (less fighting) but there are still nights where he stalls

Gymnastics - Week 2
Alexander had his 2nd week of gymnastics today and did such a great job! He does a much better job of listening to his teachers and paying attention to the instructions than he did with soccer. This week they learned some balance, how to control hula hoops and their 'ta-dahs'. It's a lot of fun to watch him and see how excited he gets!

Ginormous....
The snow outside of our house is just ridiculous. There's no other word to describe it - except that the snow piles are GINORMOUS! There's no where to put it anymore! This is what it looks like outside our front bay window - you can't even seen the driveway or the street

Snow Day...
We had YET another snow day this week...as we got about 15.5" of snow again this week! The snow is getting so high there's no where to put it anymore - it's just so high! While Alexander & I were home on Wednesday, I asked him if he wanted to go out & play...his response (and I quote):
"No thanks Momma, it's quite chilly. There's so much snow you need to carry me and that's no fun really"
