Birthday Celebration...
Today, Alexander and Mommy went out to celebrate Mommy's Birthday. We went out to dinner, got some fun chocolately goodness and had ourselves a lot of fun!
And then later Alexander gave me my birthday card that he made for me! I was touched and how special it is.

Handsome...
Look at my handsome grown up little guy....he's growing up and he looks so handsome. My cup runneth over.
Weekly Glance...
Weekly Glance (Monday, February 13th - Sunday, February 19th, 2012)
- Overall, had a really good week despite a situation on Wednesday
- Had Valentines party at school on Tuesday
- Had to go to the office on Wednesday for hitting a friend in the face (supposedly for no reason, and Alexander really didn't know why he did it)
- Did lose tv/Wii for two incidents this week (hitting incident at school & fighting at bedtime)
- Thursday night, Alexander & Mommy had our date night - haircut & dinner then home for a good night
- Friday night, Daddy & Alexander got some pizza
- Then the busy weekend began:
- Saturday, Alexander had gymnastics in the morning
- At gymnastics, he did a backwards tumble all by himself!
- After gymnastics, Alexander & Mommy went over to Christina's for a playdate - the two of them were so excited to hang out for a few hours together
- After Christina's, we went grocery shopping and came home to make dinner
- Sunday was the start of Mommy's birthday celebrations
- Mimi & Papi came over in the morning - we headed into Boston to go to the Aquarium and lunch. We also got some chocolate chip cookies as we did some walking around
- Alexander was excited to point out my Clock Tower
- Back at the house, Alexander & Mimi played super heros then we had ice cream cake and sang Happy Birthday
- Hung out a bit with Mimi & Papi before bed - then went straight to bed as he was pooped!

Love...
It's not secret that I love Boston...and it makes me just as happy to see Alexander grow up with a deep affection for the city as well. I love that he can explain to me directions around the city, what different buildings are, and that he will always point out my Clock Tower Building to me!
I love spending time with Alexander in the city
Birthday Celebrations...
On Sunday, we celebrated Mommy's birthday with Mimi & Papi. We went into Boston to check out the Aquarium, then we headed over to Quincy Market for lunch and got some of the yummiest chocolate chip cookies. Once at home, we continued to celebrate with ice cream cake!
And I really wish I could remember what funny one-liner he said here but obviously it was funny:
Aquarium...
To help celebrate Mommy's Birthday weekend, we went to the Aquarium with Mimi & Papi. Thankfully for our membership, we were able to walk right in and pass the CRAZY line. We had a lot of fun checking out the penguins and watching the sharks swim around. We got up to the top of the tank and Alexander asked a question about coral and how it survives in the tank.
His favorite part is definitely checking out the sharks in the tank!

Valentine Party...
Today, Alexander had a Valentine party at school! They brought in Valentines for each friend in class and got to put them in the mailbox for each of them. The best part was that as part of the homework they had for February - they had to write the names on the valentines. All 20. I can happily report that Alexander not only signed his name to all 20 cards, but he wrote each of his friends names on their valentines.
