To be or not to be - Sick...

Hopefully I haven't jinxed myself by typing this but it appears we have escaped through the traditional "sick" week.  Every year since Alexander has been born, he has gotten sick the 2nd week in January.  In the past, I've been able to watch it progress from a small cough to a full fledged flu/bug complete with fever.

This year, he had a slight cough in late December but nothing that stayed more than a few hours on a couple of mornings.  The annual sick week has come and NOTHING.  No coughing, no fever, no illness!

An interesting point to note is that after talking with his pediatrician in the fall, we decided against the flu shot for him this year.  Coincidence?

Fingers crossed that he continues to stay as sick-free as possible this winter!
