Celtics Champs #17...

CELTICS BRING HOME THE CHAMPIONSHIP!! #17!
What an exciting game - I didn't sit down at all during the first half, I was too excited. It was an unbelievable game with so many wonderful highlights. I don't even know where to begin.
Ray getting poked in the eye then coming back out later in the game and just nailing those 3 pointers. Rondo with his constant steals. KG being aggressive yet still working the defense. And then Pierce was just all around the complete package during this series. There's a reason he picked up the MVP.
Way to go, Celtics!
Of course Donnie & Joe were at the game so between my excitement for the Celtics, it was just compounded by the fact that Donnie was there soaking in every moment!!At one point, he was even taking pictures just like a normal fan. So nice to see...

GO GREEN...
GO GREEN! (this instance I'm not referring to the environment, but my beloved Celtics!)
It's Game 6 - Celtics vs. Lakers and it's time to for the Fat Lady to make an appearance and belt out a tune! I'm so ready for them to wrap up the Series with a win...I was so pumped with excitement all day! I even found my Reggie Lewis t-shirt from back in the day!
Keep your fingers crossed for a Celtics win #17 (my favorite number!)

Week Recap
Week Recap (Monday, June 9th - Sunday, June 15th, 2008)
- Fairly quiet week
- Did well walking & began pushing himself up to standing
- Did much better in his new room this week, less clinging onto my leg
- Heat wave in the beginning part of the week
- Went outside to play at school when it wasn't so hot
- Each day took One nap, they were usually 2 hrs long
- Woke up around 5:30am every morning, sometimes would play in his crib, othertimes he would just scream until we got him
- Most nights went down immediately and was asleep by 7:15p
- Diaper Rash & eczema made a return visit - I believe the eczema came back due to the change in temperature/weather as the poor kid has my skin which is also affected by temperature
- Had pasta and enjoyed it and would actually eat it again (alphabet pasta w/sauce)
- Went for a walk again with Daddy Saturday morning, then later after his nap went to visit Daddy's friend, Jay, while Mommy went to cousin Sean's wedding shower
- Celebrated Daddy's 2nd Father's day by going to the zoo with Alyson, Grammie & Grampie
- Loved the zoo & checking out the different animals, he really seems to understand where to find the animals
- Went for his first pony ride at the zoo with Grammie, happily enjoyed himself
- After a 2+ hour nap, went out to dinner where he did very well, he flirted with all of the waitresses
- Ate his grilled cheese & french fries all by himself

FYI...
Heads up:
Due to Game 5 of the Celtics/Lakers NBA Finals Sunday night, the blog may not be updated to the normal level of posts you would expect.
I'll do my best to get it all done but I'll be going in & out of the game and will most likely go to bed immediately after the game.

Standing...
Just a quick update as I'm heading to bed...but since Tuesday, Alexander has been going from sitting/crawling to standing up all by himself. He's been doing this all on his own - no furniture, hands, legs...nothing!
He started out shaky and did it once for Daddy. He showed me on Wednesday and I guess he was standing up like a mad-man at school all day on Thursday. Now when we ask him to sit down or stand up he does exactly what he's told...most of the time.
It's a work in progress.
