Weekly Glance...

Weekly Glance (Monday, June 8th - Sunday, June 14th, 2009)

• Had a good week at school
• Played outside at the playground when it wasn't raining
• However did not have a great week of sleeping - woke up every night Tuesday through Friday nights - made for a long week
• Once he woke up, he wanted to sleep with Mommy which resulted in very restless sleeping for Mommy & Alexander
• Teething and got in his 11th tooth - front bottom and is getting in the other tooth next to the other bottom front tooth
• Went grocery shopping with Mommy - he loves to pick the bananas and use the scanner
• Went to Target with Mommy on Thursday for our weekly Target visit
• Loves sitting in the back of the carriage as we walk around the store
• Saturday morning, went for a walk with Daddy to Dunkin Donuts, the gazebo to play ball, and to the playground
• Uncle Matt & Michael came over to visit and go to Truck Day
• Saw the trucks and loved getting inside to pretend to drive
• Played drums & soccer with Daddy, Matt & Michael
• Ran around playing outside and loves catching the "snow" (from the cottonwood tree)
• Helped Daddy mow the lawn after naptime
• Had a family dinner where we all ate at the table - had cheeseburgers & corn on the cob!
• Sunday morning, went to Dunkin Donuts with Daddy on Sunday but had to drive because it was raining
• Mimi & Papi came over on Sunday for a visit
• Between teething & excitement for Mimi & Papi, Alexander only napped for about 30 minutes (eek)
• Played trucks, finger painting, and read books with Mimi
• Went to the store with Mommy, Mimi & Papi and then went out to dinner. He did well until he got antsy at the end
• Played outside at home with Matty & Carly (next door neighbors) with toys, and bike races
• Neighbor Jon & Matty gave Alexander Matty's old bike as he got a new bigger boy bike
• After playtime, went inside for a bath but ended up having a meltdown because he was just so tired
• Started bedtime early but due to exhaustion, didn't fall asleep until normal time (oh well)
