Weekly Glance...

Weekly Glance (Monday, February 8th - Sunday, February 14th, 2010)

• Sleeping was 50/50 this week...some nights he would sleep in his room the whole night, other nights he would wake up at various times, calling for Mommy
• Lately has a tendency to fight bedtime by asking for several tuck-in's & switching it up between Mommy & Daddy
  
• Had a good week at school
• Screams when he's frustrated and can't express what's wrong or he's not getting what he wants
• School closed early on Wednesday due to the "snow" storm which ended up being a bust and we probably got 2" - So Daddy & Alexander hung out at home for the afternoon (Alexander even napped)
  
• Valentine's Day photo shoot at home on Wednesday night - he wanted to participate but wanted to do it on his terms
  
• Had a Valentine's Party at school on Thursday & got lots of cool valentines from his friends
  
• Went to Target with Mommy on Thursday and while at first he was well behaved, he thought it was hysterical to take off & run while in the store. I had to run after him and even a few times grab his coat to get him down to the floor. (It must have been a sight!)
• Friday *early* morning, Alexander woke up and did not call for Mommy but instead came into our room and climbed right on top of Mommy's head to get into bed
  
• On Saturday, Mommy Daddy & Alexander went to the Cheesecake Factory for a Valentine's lunch and then walked around the mall.
  
• Alexander even got two new Disney friends during his trip to the mall: Dumbo & Stitch
• Fought nap time Saturday afternoon despite being very tired, falling asleep in the car & waking up at 4am
  
• Rested with Mommy upstairs for a bit and then going downstairs to play
• Family dinner on Saturday but Alexander wasn't all that hungry/interested
• Played with Mommy on Sunday morning with his Valentine's presents - bowling in the kitchen
• Went to visit Grandma & Pop-pop at uncle Steven's & even got to watch cousin Chris' basketball game
• Thankfully, took a nap for about an hour & half on Sunday
• Played at Steve & Carolyn's with the kids & bella, then had dinner
  
• Favorite new snack is celery with peanut butter
• Loves the "Heigh-ho" song by the Seven Dwarfs
