Weekend Festivities...

What a busy weekend!

First we started with soccer which Alexander & his friends had a blast! This is probably the quietest & longest Alexander sat still all weekend (which was still only briefly)...Check out this pose of him listening to Coach Chip intently! Then we headed over to the festival going on in the center of town - it was pretty big with food, events, bouncy houses, & pony rides.

The kids got to hang out at the firehouse and check out the trucks which was probably the highlight! Then we went over to the center where the kids did a bouncy obstacle course while the Dad's went to get lunch. After lunch, the kids just ran around on the lawn chasing each other & at one time pretending to be cows.Saturday afternoon, we hung out with neighbor Jon & the kids & ended up getting pizza together & having a neighborly dinner outside!

On Sunday, we originally planned to go apple picking with Mimi & Papi but Mimi didn't feel very well. So then we decided to have a low-key day at home and try to watch as much of the season opener Pats game before Alexander fought us (& won). Then as I was about to go to Stop & Shop, Daddy's friend called us and asked if we found a babysitter could we come to the Pats game today.Thankfully Uncle Matt & Aunt Laura were available & able to watch Alexander on such short notice. So, Alexander spent the day playing with cousin Michael. They mowed the lawn, played baseball & soccer & spent most of the day outside! Later in the afternoon, Alexander got to have dinner with them. Auntie Laura said they did a great job playing together & had a lot of fun!
