Weekly Glance...

Weekly Glance (Monday, September 6th - Sunday, September 12th, 2010)

  • Had a pretty good week at school - most days he did not have any timeouts
  • Timeouts at school means NO TV at home
  • Sleeping was iffy most nights he spent it in his room however there were two nights he came in early on due to a bad dream or pins & needles from sleeping
  • He did very well in regards to Potty this week - only one accident at school all week. And two at home and that's from laziness even though we ask constantly
  • Monday morning, Alexander & Mimi went to the playground & the herring run
  • Then Alexander went fishing with Daddy for a bit at Mimi & Papi's lake
  • Hung out at Mimi & Papi's - played a lot of baseball
  • Made a "Me Shirt" at school on Wednesday
  • We had several family dinners this week
  • Saturday was our busy day - soccer, town festival, mowed the lawn, & dinner
  • Sunday - Alexander spent the afternoon at Uncle Matt & Aunt Laura's playing with cousin Michael while Mommy & Daddy went to the Patriots Game
  • Weekend wake-up schedule...Saturday we all had to get up for soccer but he woke up at 4:30am and fell back to sleep at 5:15a, then woke at 7am. Sunday, he came in at 5:30a, slept until 6:20a and then just cuddled/watched tv til 7:30a
  • New things:
  • Miss Cassie is now his new favorite girl (teacher at school)
  • Alexander & Daddy play baseball before booktime each night which then leads to cleaning up the "field". And before Alexander would laugh when daddy sings, now he does this weird 'rasberry' sound which he thinks is even funnier. We don't get it.
  • Before Alexander could not watch a Disney movie all the way through because is used to tv shows of 30 minute intervals...however Daddy introduced him to the baseball movie "Rookie of the Year" and he can watch the whole thing without moving and LOVES it. (much to Mommie's shagrin of sitting there for that long - thankfully I don't think he actually has seen the whole thing from start to finish)
