Timeout...

Lately, Alexander has not been listening well when it comes to going to bed. He fights, screams & stalls as much as humanly possible. There are some nights when he doesn't go to sleep until 9:45pm/10pm - which means that it is a 2-2 1/2 hour process for Mommy & Daddy.

Last night we was so bad of not listening that threatening to take out one or two toys was just not working.
Instead, we took them all out!

There is now a pile of toys in our room. He has to earn them back one at a time with "Toy Cards". For everything he does well (without fighting & with good listening ears), he gets a "Toy Card"...he can then use the toy card to get a toy back per card.
