Weekly Glance...
Weekly Glance (Monday, November 15th - Sunday, November 21st, 2010)
- Had a great week at school - no timeouts, no potty accidents & good attitude
- Spent the week talking about Thanksgiving topics at school - made Turkey hands, made a class thankful-turkey, talked about Pilgrims & Indians
- Alexander said Mommy & Daddy were his two things that he was thankful for that he put on his thankful turkey on the class wall (aww)
- Bedtime has continued to be a rough standstill (can typically take 2 to 2 1/2 hours with fighting)
- Sleeping was good in the sense that he made it through the night for the majority of nights (waking around 5am but coming in with us and falling back asleep til about 6:30)
- He's done great with potty - no issues both at home & at school, even with some longer car rides
- Mommy & Alexander went to Target on Thursday after school
- Mommy & Alexander watched a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving - he loved Snoopy & Woodstock
- Daddy & Alexander went to play with cousin Michael for a bit Friday after school - Daddy watched Michael and Mommy picked up Alexander on the way home
- Had a rough Saturday morning with absolutely NO listening and a lot of talking back
- Soccer on Saturday morning - Coach Chip & Coach Priya were out, so we had Coach Jorge, Coach Tom & Coach Lindsay. Coach Jorge was really good with the kids.
- Alexander had a few moments of not listening at soccer and had to be pulled aside and spoken to for crazy running
- The bad attitude (no listening & being fresh) continued after soccer as we all went to go run errands - he was fresh & fighting in each store we went to
- Thankfully we had a low-key afternoon and he seemed to get in a much better mood
- Sunday, we went to Mimi & Papi's for the day - Alexander got to hang out with Mimi & Papi while Mommy & Daddy went to the movies
- Mimi & Alexander went to visit Auntie at work and he got his own (fake) cell phone
- Sunday afternoon was playtime - painting with Mimi, playing bowling, kitchen, then dinner & tubby
- Hopefully he starts listening otherwise the rest of 3 will be a rough few months...
