Weekly Glance...

Weekly Glance (Monday, March 28th - Sunday, April 3rd, 2011)

• Had a mixed week at school - some days were good, some were okay, and others were not so good due to not listening/running
• Ms Debbie is having them do lots of projects/learning - it's good to see!
• Sleeping this week was not great - was not asleep before 9p every night and most cases he came in with Mommy during the night except for 2 nights (means no sleep for Mommy)
• Got his haircut on Wednesday night and then Target date with Mommy (Daddy went to NJ with uncle Matt for a family function)
• Thursday night was photo night for his yearly official photoshoot
• Did great during the photoshoot but really hate it when the photographers don't get the natural shot and "wait" for the smile when the natural one looks so MUCH better. Got a few nice shots
• Had a MAJOR meltdown as we were finishing up selecting photos - the lack of listening is pretty high right now
• Watched Red Sox opening game and had some pizza with Daddy Friday night followed by tub time with Mommy
• Saturday morning, Alexander & Mommy went to Aidan's birthday party
• Had fun at the party with his friends - was fine until he & Connor starting running and then he wasn't listening (which caused the timeout - not good to run in a pottery place)
• Mommy & Alexander went to pick up Daddy's cake and Alexander had fun wanting to pick out the cake
• Played a bit in the afternoon & watched Beauty & the Beast with Daddy
• Headed to Daddy's birthday dinner
• Had fun at dinner - was really excited to see everyone and if it wasn't for Auntie's ipad he would have been a lot less contained. Thankfully he & cousin Will did some "horse racing" for entertainment & it kept him distracted
  
• Sunday morning was a low key, nice morning - we let Daddy sleep til 8a even though it was his morning
• Alexander & Daddy played a bit and then we all played a few rounds of Candy Land
• Alexander has a bit of a temper when he doesn't win so we had to play again to show him how to be a "sore loser"
• He played Chutes & Ladders without the bottom half of his pj's which made it kind of entertaining when he lost because he would run away with his naked bum hanging out
• Sunday afternoon, Daddy & Alexander went to uncle Steven & Carolyn's house to hang out and visit for cousin Chris' birthday
  
• He can write his whole name by himself
• Also was able to write 'Chris' by himself too (he addressed a birthday card for cousin Chris)
• He's been doing a lot more singing/playing by himself and using his imagination which is nice to see
