Grandparents Weekend

This weekend was the unofficial version of "Grandparents Day".

Alexander had a sleep-over at Mimi & Papi's house to celebrate the occasion. The main event was a pool party at friends of Mimi & Papi. A bunch of Mimi & Papi's friends who have grandkids all wanted to have a get together for the kids to play.

Alexander was great in the pool, swimming with Mimi. He was jumping off the raft, and kicking/splashing around.

After some time in the pool, Alexander and his new friend, Brandon played some tee-ball and also played a "round" of golf.

They had some lunch and played around some more with the tee-ball. Thankfully, Alexander was very well behaved. He used his manners and played nicely with the other kids. However, he wasn't all that excited when Cooper (who's a bit younger) was laying on the ground near the golf clubs.

Then after Grandparents day at the Pool Party, he went back to Mimi & Papi's house and took a well-needed 2 1/2 hour nap! They'll have to plan another Grandparents Day maybe in 6 months from now - but who knows what they'll do in the winter!
