Weekly Glance...

Weekly Glance (Monday, June 7th - Sunday, June 13th, 2010)

• Had a pretty decent week at school - we learned about things related to the Carnival (theme for June)
• Took a few longer than usual naps, participated in the walk-a-thon, popped water balloons by sitting on them & then didn't nap on Friday
• Tried to use the potty a couple times at school on Friday
• Potty training at home is progressing - he went every night before bed and got to put stickers on his chart
• Saturday he went a few times and we practiced using just underwear on both Saturday & Sunday with no accidents
• Bedtime this week has been long, tiring, and overall rough! Most nights it's been about 2 hours when we get upstairs before he's in bed for good, despite the rule of staying in your room. Actually that seems to be the hardest rule to follow...makes for a very long process
• Little Bear has been added to his list of new shows he enjoys
• Thursday night bedtime was interesting has he had such a wonderful night of listening and behaving well for Mommy but then he decided to get butt-naked and empty out his drawers
  
• He got naked & emptied out his drawers again Friday night...I hope this is not a reoccurring pattern
• Woke up with Mommy on Saturday (at 5:20am after coming into sleep with Mommy at 4:15am)
• Hung out with Mommy (Daddy went fishing), went to buy bubbles at Christmas Tree Shoppe and then a stop at Target to get out of the house on a rainy day.
• Was very well behaved at Christmas Tree Shoppe, using his manners and saying 'excuse me' but at the end of our Target stop he was getting tired and pushing the boundaries so it was time to go
• Played a bit with Daddy and then Daddy took him for a drive to help with a nap (which worked wonders)
  
• Woke up with Daddy on Sunday (at 6:10am after sleeping in his bed all night) - again with the pattern
• Hung out with Daddy in the morning (Mommy went to a mass ceremony for her school) and helped vacuum
• Mimi & Papi came over for a visit
• Went to indoor mini-golf and got some ice cream
• Took a bubble bath and went potty for Mimi after dinner
• Bedtime - hoping for a better bedtime tonight!
