Weekly Glance...

Weekly Glance (Monday, December 27th, 2010 - Sunday, January 2nd, 2011)
  • Short week at school due to snow & New Years Eve however behaved well at school
  • Still has a listening problem, specifically with Mommy this week
  • Sleeping was better in the sense that he slept thru the night & didn't wake up early, however bedtime is still a rough transition
  • Napped most days at school which throws off bedtime
  • Had a snow day on Monday but was too windy/cold to go out & play so Mommy & Alexander played with his new race track, bowling & few other new toys
  • Went to Target with Mommy for our date night
  • New Years Eve (Friday), went to the Enchanted Village with Elizabeth - very excited to go however did not have listening ears on and was pretty fresh throughout the day
  • After the Enchanted Village, we all went out to lunch which only added to Alexander's inability to listen
  • Went to Kirk & Deanna's for dinner/New Years Eve celebration/sleep-over on Friday night (almost didn't go due to Alexander's behavior)
  • Once at Kirk & Deanna's, Alexander was well behaved & had a blast playing with Marina
  • He fell asleep easily around 10:30 - I did think he might actually make it to midnight although I wasn't going to try it
  • Sleep over and then the kids played bowling the next morning
  • Saturday afternoon, we headed home and because it was so nice out, Alexander helped Daddy take down the Christmas lights
  • Alexander got to play in the snow and got a kick out of throwing snow balls at the driveway
  • Went to Edaville Railroad on Sunday with Mommy, Mimi, Papi & Auntie (Daddy unfortunately couldn't go as Matt & Laura was arriving home at the airport & needed to get home)
  • Had a blast at Edaville despite the rain & the fog!
  • Alexander's been learning to do his own buttons & has been doing a great job with them (he's been lazy with this in the past)
  • Best small moment of the week for me - singing along to the Little Mermaid with Alexander in the car!
