Weekly Glance...

Weekly Glance (Monday, January 3rd - Sunday, January 9th, 2011)

• VERY lowkey week both at school & home
• Pretty good week at school - no timeouts, no accidents & didn't take naps the later part of the week
• Napped at school on Monday & Tuesday which then resulted in late bedtimes (with fighting)
• Did not nap Wednesday, Thursday & Friday and bedtimes were a bit better - less fighting/crying and asleep most nights by 9:30p
• LOTS of energy in the afternoon at school on both Thursday & Friday
  
• However Thursday night he fell asleep in the car on the way home and it was a struggle to get him out of the car/jacket. He screamed/fought for an hour and was very crabby
• After the hour-long fight, he was super sweet & cuddly.
  It's amazing how quickly he can go from one extreme to the other
• Able to have family dinners a lot this week
• Weekend was pretty low-key
• Saturday morning, Mommy & Alexander hung out, played puzzles & with his race track then he went outside to help Daddy shovel (he's pretty good!)
  
• Saturday afternoon, Alexander & Daddy went to visit uncle Matt and play with Michael in the snow - they went sledding & had snowball fights
• Sunday was the lazy day - we hung out, watched some tv/football/Rudolph, played puzzles and it wasn't until 3:30 that he went outside to play in the snow with Daddy
  
• Sleeping wasn't as bad - slept in his bed almost every night and
• Alexander's getting excellent at doing buttons which seemed to be the last thing he 'struggled' with
• Played the game Perfection at school and they all love it
• Does a great job putting together his fire truck & thomas puzzles together
