Grumpy Pants...

This week was a fairly rough week for Alexander. Most days he appeared to be grumpy at some point during the day. Most times it took place along side not listening or talking back to his teachers which then only resulted in timeouts.

There were even a few days where he wanted nothing to do with his friends and just wanted to be left alone (and his friends only wanted to play with him more). And when I dropped him off on Friday, it was a weird Jekyll & Hyde moment. In the car, he was happy and cute - we were even singing Ariel songs. And as soon as we got close to his classroom door, he turned shy & grumpy; hiding behind my legs. It wasn't fun to drop him off when he was that grumpy but he went over and cuddled a bit with Ms. Lindsay.

I think part of the grumpiness is due to the nap schedule and how some nights he gets a good night sleep and other nights he goes to bed later than he should. Hopefully he gets on a consistent schedule (aka - no naps) sooner rather than later.
