Good Behavior Jar...

As with all typical three year olds, Alexander has his moments. Some great, others not so great! He has moments where he screams, yells, runs & overall doesn't listen. So in order to harness the good moments, we have implemented a "Good Behavior Jar" at home.Currently it's filled with M&Ms (but that can change) and when he does something good, without causing a raucous, he gets a 'good behavior treat'. He understands this means that he can't have fights with Mommy or Daddy which also includes screaming, yelling, hitting & not listening. If he doesn't listen then no 'good behavior treat'.

Hopefully it works...I know it won't work 100% of the time, but hopefully it will instill good behavior long term.
