Weekly Glance...

Weekly Glance (Monday, July 12th - Sunday, July 18th, 2010)

• Had a pretty good week at school, except for Wednesday (see separate post)
• Potty update: he did well at school with no accidents & no pull-ups! At home, he seems to be lazy and will either pee in his pull-up or just pee in his underwear. We have to constantly remind/ask about potty.
  
• He did have one accident that we had to clean up but then he had another really good moment where he did what he's supposed to do...so we're 50/50
• Bedtime was a bit better this week - less temper tantrums as the bedtime chart is starting to work well. He knows that after books, he has quiet time, then lights out...and he seems to really like quiet time as that is something he doesn't want to loose if he misbehaves
  
• Slept very well at home - slept in his bed every night & the earliest he woke up was 5:45am, there were other mornings he slept til 6:20
• Weekend sleeping...Mommy's morning was Saturday where he was wide awake at 5:15am - ready to go! Sunday, he woke up at 5:30am where he crawled into bed with me, got all snuggly and slept til 7:30am. Did I mention that Sunday was Daddy's morning? Did you notice the trend continues?!
• He got his first batch of Matchbox cars from Mommy this week & he was racing them on the floor with Daddy
• Saturday, we did some cleaning & yardwork with Mommy and then Mimi & Papi came over for the afternoon
• Put together his little Pirate ship from Mimi & Papi
  
• Would play in pirate ship, then back to the kiddie pool, then back to the pirate ship, then to the sprinklers all afternoon
• Still loves taking showers - showed Mimi how well he does getting himself clean
• Sunday morning, he & Mommy went to swim class - he did very well, asking several times for me to let go! And he didn't drink as much water as we practiced with lips together & blowing bubbles
• Ran a few errands at home, drove around with Daddy for a nap and then got stuff ready for vacation!
• Will watch the 'Cars' movie with Lightening McQueen but still won't watch more than 30 mins
