Weekly Glance...

Weekly Glance (Monday, June 28th - Sunday, July 4th, 2010)

• Had a fairly decent week at school - started out rough but was much better by the end of the week!
• Potty training update: at school he did pretty well however there was a couple of days where he had an accident or two; at home he seems to want no part of telling us when he has to potty this week. We've had several accidents at home which equals lots of little loads of laundry for Mommy
• Bedtime this week has been a nightmare...it's taking sometimes 2 hrs of fighting/whining/crying...separate post will come
  
• Finally on Wednesday, we started a bedtime chart to try to help & it's been going well
• On first night, did not earn all three (just two) but on Thurs & Friday, he did earn all 3 stickers
  
• Daddy did bedtime on Thursday and it went so much smoother, that Mommy suggested he do it again on Friday!
  
• On Monday, Alexander took his first shower and hasn't looked back - he loves them! And it is much easier/quicker to getting him clean!
• After school this week: played baseball, in the kiddie pool, in driveway with trucks
• Went to the Pre-K room at school on Friday (we're not sure why yet - we learned about it during Friday pickup)
• Went to visit Mommy & Daddy's work Friday after school (school closed early)
• Saturday, we all did a lot of yard work outside...planting, trimming, raking, watering
• After yard work, we went to Steve & Ann's for a cookout...went swimming (swam 'alone' for the 1st time), played with the kids & was quite nervous about the dogs
• Asleep in the car before we hit the highway
• Sunday was Mommy's morning (and although he did sleep til 6a, he still slept til 6:30a for Daddy yesterday)
• Had a rough morning, woke up cranky and it carried through most of the day
• Daddy took him for a drive/nap and he was asleep instantly but wouldn't go back down once home
  
• Sunday was the 4th of July - we had a BBQ and Uncle Matt, Aunt Laura & Michael came over
• Played with Michael, wanted Aunt Laura to play with him in anything he did, then went into neighbor Jon's pool for a bit (it's a small pool that he can stand in), then played a round of 'baseball' with all the kids
• Took a shower & then in bed/asleep by 9p
