Week Fifty Glance...

Week Fifty Glance (Monday, March 3rd - Sunday, March 9th, 2008)

  • Woke up around 5-5:30am every morning. Most mornings, Mommy would let him try to settle back down before going to get him to snuggle with me before it was time to get up
  • Bedtime was around 7:30pm every night
  • Had a good week at school - napped well and ate fairly well. Had a few instances this week where he didn't want his yogurt or cheese
  • Wore all new clothes and/or outfits to school
  • Had 2nd haircut/trim by Mommy
  • LOVES screaming whether he's mad, happy, excited or if other people are talking louder than he is
  • Tried new morning routine because he was getting annoyed with the current one where he sat in his chair with me in the bathroom, playing with toys, while I got ready.
  • The new routine includes puffs, water & Sesame Street so far so good...
  • Took a bath with Daddy in the tub
  • Loves puffs
  • Tried watermelon - doesn't like to touch or eat it on his own but if we put it in one of those gerber mesh bags, he'll suck on it. He doesn't seem to like food if the texture is cold, wet or slimey.
  • Cruising around the living room is going really well
  • Babbling stories are now including 'gaga' and 'aaahh' and not only 'dada'
  • When he wants you to read him a book, he'll push it over to you until you open it up
  • Favorite toys/books lately are: Super grover, his blow ball toy, Cookie Monster Rhyme book, his '1' balloon, an empty container of puffs, puzzles, and anything that has to do with music (music table, pianos, drums & tamborine)
  • Pushed himself on his tractor with his feet
  • Tried Pizza & pancakes and loved them both and even took bites from each of them
  • Grammie came over to hang out on Saturday and Alyson & Grammie came over on Sunday
  • Had a weekend full of photos: Saturday, went with Grammie & Mommy to visit the Easter Bunny. Sunday, went with Mommy, Alyson & Grammie to get his One Year/Birthday photos taken. He did exceptionally well...and even kept uncrossing his ankles when they tried to pose him in that silly pose.
  • Sunday morning, he started to get a runny nose and some wheezing so we started the neb treatments again
  • Daylight savings seems to have confused him as he had a doozy of a time going to bed Sunday night
  • Overall a very good week
