Week Recap...

Week Recap (Monday, April 7th - Sunday, April 13th)

• A good yet quiet week
• This week he would get up earlier than 6am, coughing/fussy
• One morning ride to school he was quite fussy and the only thing that would settle him (not the alphabet, Cookie or Grover books) but the M*A*S*H theme song on my ipod. I downloaded it strictly for him, thank goodness
• Had a good week at school - playing with other kids, playing in the gym, tunnel & outside.
• Lowkey weekend at home (which is good because the upcoming weekends are going to be bu-sy!)
• Went to the playground across the street with Daddy a few times
• Loves bathtime & splashing
• Practiced standing but thinks it more of a game and will fall into your lap
• Doing a great job of getting around - whether crawling or cruising around the furniture
• Does very well with his truck and pushes it around the house and even knows to go to the other side to push it back
• Saturday turned out to be quite nice so Alexander & Daddy had lunch outside with our neighbors (Jon, Carly & Matty) while Mommy got a haircut
• After lunch, they went over to the playground. Alexander loved the slide
• Daddy put together his two new playsets - he loves going down the slide and can get himself down.
• *Has* to be teething now as he was cranky all weekend; the littliest things would set him off
• Waking up from naps or in the morning was an ordeal as it took him several minutes to calm down - that is never the case with Alexander
• Food this week: pancakes/waffles; hot dogs/cheese, yogurt, ham, peanut butter sandwich, grilled cheese, applesauce, tried cottage cheese & pudding (not together). Still not into pasta - I tried mac&cheese and he immediately knew it was pasta and took it out of his mouth
