Week Recap...
Week Recap for Monday, April 14th - Sunday, April 20th, 2008
- Was REALLY fussy earlier in the week and constantly eating his fingers but still no teeth has popped through... motrin has helped with the fussiness
- Had a very lowkey week despite the teeth pain but the weather is starting to warm up
- Tried out a few new words "turtle", "all done" and "ok"
- Took a couple steps at school
- Ate pretty well all week (hot dogs, cheese, yogurt,
- Went outside every day at school and played in the playset
- Went to the playground with Daddy & Mommy a few times after school
- LOVES going down slides - giggles as he goes down
- Played on his two new playsets (again - loves the slides)
- Left school early on Friday to hang out with Auntie Alyson
- Friday night Alyson, Grammie & Grampie came over and then we went out to dinner
- Went to Post Office Pub for dinner and he was very well behaved even though it was past his bedtime (flirted with the waitress again)
- Went to NJ for the weekend for Anthony & Maria's son's Christening.
- Saturday: Only slept in the car for about 45 minutes but was VERY well behaved all day both in the church & at the restaurant
- Loved to see the other kids at the church
- Baby Anthony walked right over to Alexander and gave him a hug
- Had pizza & marinara sauce at the restaurant - still wants nothing to do with pasta
- Went up & down the stairs at Grandpa & Grandma's house (We didn't get to see them this visit as they were visiting Catherine & DJ), but Alexander did become the Stair-Pro! He would go up very quickly and even learned how to go down the stairs, feet first
- Didn't sleep all that well at Grandpa & Grandma's but I think that's because he was congested - but he did sleep in his pack & play all night, then he slept with me from 6a-7a
- Sunday we went to visit John & Hua's new house - Hua got to meet Alexander so that was nice. He decided to master their stairs as well which were very tall & narrow. He did very well
- On the drive home on Sunday, he only slept about an hour in the car. I really thought he was going to sleep longer as we turned his carseat around where he could be more comfortable
- If you tell him 'no', sometimes he thinks he's in trouble and will pout & whimper at you. And when you tell him that he's okay he will smile with his head back.
