Christmas Eve...
For Christmas Eve, we got out of work/school early to go to 4pm mass at St Marks. We ran into some traffic which made Alexander a bit annoyed of being in the car. We enjoyed the Children's mass and Alexander was extremely well behaved. He kept looking around and loved watching the kids carry their candles (he tried to blow them out from our seat).
We saw our friend Denise at Mass (she sings in the choir), so it was nice that she got to see Alexander as she hasn't seen him since his baptism.
After mass, we met Grammie & Grampie at a restaurant/bar to help kill some time before Dennis & Mary held their annual Christmas Eve gathering. I'm not going to lie, I felt guilty about bringing my child to a bar, but thankfully it's also a restaurant. And the people there loved him! He got to run around since the restaurant section was empty.
We headed over to Dennis & Mary's for a bit. He was extremely well-behaved and in a great mood despite the fact that we were now passed his bedtime. He had a ball playing with the kids, especially Kaileen. She read him books, made him laugh hysterically, and chased him around the house.
Then we got him in his Christmas jammies and headed home. He was asleep quickly so it made it quite easy to put him in his crib once we got home...
Then we got ready for Santa by putting out milk, cookies & carrots!
