Weekly Glance...
Weekly Glance (Monday, June 29th - Sunday, July 5th, 2009)
- Very rainy & gloomy week yet they did manage to find moments in the day to go outside
- Wore his raincoat for the first time
- Had a diaper rash earlier in the week which made it very hard to change his diaper as he fought each time
- Received another incident report (story in another post)
- LOVES blueberries this week
- Went shopping for swimcaps with Mommy
- On Thursday, had a party for the 4th of July in school
- Mommy & Alexander went to Target after school for hotdog & milk which was good because they were playing outside in the afternoon and his pants were drenched!
- No school on Friday due to Holiday
- Went to playground with Daddy in the morning and went back to the swings
- Mimi came over to visit for the afternoon
- After naptime, went to lunch & the store with Mommy & Mimi
- Ate well with Mimi - french fries & hamburger
- Played trucks & finger painting with Mimi
- Went to the playground and then for walk with Mommy to grocery store Saturday morning - loves picking out the bananas
- Celebrated 4th of July in Boston: went into Boston with Mommy & Daddy
- Had late lunch at annual lunch place of Vinny Ts - met with Matt, Laura, Michael & Mommy's friend Stacey
- After lunch, walked down to the Boston Common - watched planes, listened to music
- Alexander & Daddy kicked the ball around the Common
- Alexander had a blast running after the ball, eating blueberries and playing with Stacey
- Went to bed late on Saturday (surprisingly did not fall asleep on way home) but thankfully woke up at 6am on Sunday
- Played with Daddy Sunday morning - went for a walk to Dunkin Donuts, gazebo & playground
- Had our first swim 'lesson' with Mommy (see swimming post)
- Went to Target with Mommy after swim lessons for a hot dog
- Hung out with Mommy at home (Naptime was shorter than usual which led to a cranky little boy)
- Once he became less cranky, we had a snack, watched the birdies, and played outside
- Took a bath and went to bed early because he couldn't stop rubbing his eyes
