Weekly Glance...

Weekly Glance (Monday, July 27th, - Sunday, August 2nd, 2009)

• Had a good week at school
• Peed in the potty at school for the first time!
• Ms Amanda is now Alexander's full time teacher along with Ms Sarah - we love Ms Amanda
• Got a new haircut & was overly adorable and cute. Listened to directions and did everything he was asked - he talked to Monkey about his haircut
• Went to Target with Mommy after haircut & got a celebratory Einsteins Rocket toy for the Potty & the haircut
• During bathtime, is starting to enjoy floating on his back providing Mommy holds his head
• Daddy & Alexander found a turtle in the garage after school - Daddy then brought him back to the lake
• Likes playing in the kitchen area at school
• Another incident report: got bit at school on Thursday by another kid in class (left small mark)
• Grocery shopping with Mommy then home for meatballs & broccoli
• Aquarium Guy came to school on Friday - Alexander got to hold a starfish
• During bedtime, loves it when you march/hop or hide to ultimately scare him. Daddy gets him super excited & then super scared easily
• Mommy & Alexander weekend as Daddy went to PA for Emily's baptism
• Mommy & Alexander went to the playground Saturday morning, then we had a ham & cheese cracker lunchable for lunch & he enjoyed more than I thought
• After nap/lunch, we went down to Mimi & Papi's for a sleep over (to visit Auntie & because Mommy had a shower the next day right near Mimi's house)
• Went in the pool & played with the outdoor house at Mimi & Papi's
• Loved splashing/jumping in the pool & having Papi hoist him in & out
• Painted a few times with the new easel
• Slept at Mimi & Papi's
• Had breakfast with Papi then went to the playground with Mimi
• Took a nap while Mommy, Mimi & Auntie went to shower
• Had lunch with Papi, then played in the pool after nap
• Watched some Little Einsteins with Papi then it was dinner/tubby time
• Was in a good mood the whole ride home
• Mommy implemented 'Rule of the Day' and this weekend it was "No Whining" and it worked well all weekend. Not so much Monday morning (but that's nexts weeks topic)...
• He got a kick out of repeating the rule of the day
• Loves his new nicknames: 'homeslice' and 'babydoll'
