Weekly Glance...

Weekly Glance (Monday, August 10th - Sunday, August 16th, 2009)

• Fairly lowkey week
• Had a very good week at school - played outside at the playground
• Does very well with 'Plans' - so when I say "what's the plan?" and we list things like "get dressed, have breakfast, get in car, school" it helps keep him focused rather than little tantrums. He's been great at reciting them back even if it's 15 mins later
• Had Peanut Butter & jelly for the first time at school & LOVED it! Couldn't wait to eat lunch and had bites before some of his friends were even sitting down (Didn't make it before now in case of allergies for other kids but there are none)
• Bumps on his legs from the weekend were still there but are started to go away which makes me think they were odd bug bites
• Had to have a time out because he purposely slapped Mommy across the face - he was not happy about it but he did stay sitting until he said 'sorry mama'
• Went to Target with Mommy for hot dog & milk on Thursday
• After school on Friday, went with Daddy over to Jay & Susan's house to hang out (Mommy went to visit Auntie after surgery)
• Alexander had a blast over Jay & Susan's - playing with the kids, kicking the ball
• On Saturday, Mommy & Alexander got ready early and headed over to Mimi & Papi's house for the day (this way Daddy could work in the yard with no distractions)
• At Mimi & Papi's, we playing in the pool, rode our bike, played trucks, played catch, took a nap, walked down to the pond with Mimi, relaxed with Papi watching Little Einsteins. Overall Excellent day/mood
• Sunday, Daddy & Alexander had their weekly routine of Dunkin Donuts, Gazebo & Playground
• Mommy & Alexander went to swim class - Alexander did well kicking, jumping, blowing bubbles a bit & Mommy even let go and he was staying afloat!
• Went to Target & then got some plants with Mommy after swim class
• After a long nap on Sunday, we played a bit in the baby pool and then Daddy & Alexander went to play at the playground for a bit
• After dinner & tubby, we played throw/hit in his room before bedtime
