Weekly Glance...

Weekly Glance (Monday, August 3rd - Sunday, August 9th, 2009)

• A fairly lowkey week
• Had a good week at school (despite the crankiness Tuesday after nap)
• Learned that we're moving over to Older Toddlers room for September 1st
• Went to Target with Mommy on Monday for hotdog & milk
• Had bumps on legs which had school call so we went to see Dr. M after school - got very upset (per usual) and then got sick while at the doctor (threw up all over Mommy)
• Went to Safety Night with Mommy & Daddy Tuesday night, after the doctor
• Went grocery shopping with Mommy Thursday night - loves to help scan the food (which also helps keep him distracted)
• Friday night, played with Daddy & Mommy - chased Daddy around living room, tucking Daddy in on the little couch & then jumping on him
• Then taking pictures with Mommy wearing the bunny ears and then he was doing these faces and posing pretending to be mad and then laughing - it was very funny
• Saturday morning, went to the playground & gazebo with Mommy. We skipped around the gazebo and then little girls came over to play so they all started running around the gazebo together
• After nap, Daddy & Alexander went to Uncle Steve's for cousin Will's birthday
• Got to see Grandma & PopPop, Matt, Laura & Michael - played with the kids
• Went in the pool with Daddy but was more interested in jumping in rather than staying in and swimming
• Legs were agitated by the chlorine
• Sunday morning, Alexander & Daddy had their weekly Dunkin' Donuts, gazebo & playground visit
• Then Mommy & Alexander went to swim class - Alexander did very well with his kicking and stayed in the pool for the majority of the time
• It was a lazy day at home after nap, hit the ball with Daddy & then got ready for bedtime
• Loves skipping and singing "skip to my lou" which actually comes out as "skip skip louuuu"
• Has been playing baseball with Daddy and has been doing really well of actually making contact with the bat/ball
• Loves Little Einsteins
