Weekly Glance...

Weekly Glance (Monday, April 20th - Sunday, April 26th)

  • Had a good week at school - went outside most days
  • Did have a little scuffle on Tuesday when he scratched someone over a toy
  • On Friday, since the weather was beautiful, Alexander's class took a walk to the Library and had lunch at the Common
  • Really getting into playing the drums
  • He's pointing out colors, correctly, instead of just saying them out loud
  • Loves dipping his nuggets in BBQ sauce
  • Loves sitting in the rocking chair by himself during bedtime stories and then after a few books, he'll ask you to come sit with him
  • On Thursday, Mommy & Alexander had our weekly treat of Target for hot dog & milk
  • His Target cafe lady gave him a Target dog - it was very sweet (but then he just wanted to run out the doors so we had to cut our visit shorter, thankfully he finished his hot dogs)
  • On Friday, played outside a bit with Daddy after school
  • Alexander LOVES having the garage door open and gets mad when we can't open it because we're trying to leave for school
  • On Saturday, we had a family party at Elizabeth's house which Alexander loved every second and was very well behaved
  • We had to wake Alexander up from his nap because for the first hour he just stayed in his crib babbling. First time he's ever done that... so he got an hour and 20 minutes instead of his 2 hours
  • He played with the fish in the koi pond and love putting his hand in
  • He loved throwing the ball in so someone would have to dig it out, he played with cousin Sarah and had a ball
  • He learned the manly-chest bump from Sean as well as clinking glasses and saying "ahhhh"
  • Went to the beach at Elizabeth's and loved throwing rocks into the water
  • Took a walk with Mommy to the playground Sunday morning
  • On Sunday, went to go see Sesame Street Live with Mommy, Daddy, Mimi & Papi
  • He loved Sesame Street Live - he was mesmorized for the first half, then clapping and pointing out Elmo & Ernie
  • He was very well behaved at Sesame Street Live despite no nap and enjoyed himself
  • Went to get some ice cream after the show and Alexander actually had chocolate ice cream and liked eating it off the spoon by himself (every time we've given him ice cream before he's pushed it away)
  • Slept in the car on the way home, but was too tired to really fall asleep once home so it was trial and error trying to get him comfortable & relaxed
  • Played after his "nap" and he was in a great mood - played with empty cups, had dinner, played cars, chased after Daddy
