Birthday Party Fun...

Today, Alexander went to a Birthday party for Aidan!
Aidan's parents had a perfect idea - have the party at a playground so the kids can run around outside, then do a little snack time while a few of the dad's hid some Easter Eggs. After snack time, the kids ran around looking for eggs! We then sang Happy Birthday to Aidan and had some cake - it was a cool Lightening McQueen car. The kids got to run around the playground some more before it was time to come!It was really nice to have most of the kids from Alexander's class there to play with outside of school. We had the four boys there - Alexander, Aidan, Sean & Connor who have been at the school together since 3-6 months. We thought it would be a really cool idea to get a picture of them all together however they all had different opinions. Trying to get them to sit together & sit still on a bench for 10 seconds was comical at the least. Connor didn't want to get up, then Aidan got down, then Sean kept looking down. The only one who sat there posing was, yup you guessed it, Alexander!
Thankfully we were able to get all 4 of them on the bench looking in the general direction even if for a little bit - this is one of my favorite pictures!!
