Weekly Glance...
Weekly Glance (Monday, April 12th - Sunday, April 18th, 2010)
- Had a good week at school - only one incident of screaming/not listening. We think it's because Ms Jennifer was in his room for the day (she had been in the infant room for a bit) and all the kids were testing their boundaries with her
- Bedtime has been great this week - after books/cuddle, he stays in his bed. Earlier in the week he spent the whole night in his bed but later in the week he woke up every night & came to sleep with Mommy
- Went to Stop & Shop with Mommy on Wednesday and helped pick out the fruit & veggies and then scan all the food
- Alexander & Mommy resumed their weekly date to Target this week...Alexander was very well behaved (& hungry too!)
- Alexander got sick at school on Friday, woke up from nap and threw up on his sheets/blanket (see separate post)
- Hung out with Mommy at home, Friday afternoon, resting. You would never know he got sick as he was in a good mood, no fever, and didn't get sick once at home
- Saturday morning was Daddy's morning and yup, he slept til 7am!
- Saturday ran errands with Mommy & Daddy - went to Old Navy, then out to lunch, then to the pet store and to Dicks Sporting Goods
- At Old Navy, he got to play with a moving display then at lunch he seemed more interested in looking around then actually eating, we thought it would be fun to go to the pet store (Petsmart) however it slipped our minds that dogs would be in the store. He was NOT fond of that and kept saying "I don't like doggies, just kitty-kats". Then at Dick's he got to play golf with Daddy, try the treadmill, then check out the tents
- Sunday morning was Mommy's morning and he was up at 5:55am! Notice a pattern...I do.
- Went to see Sesame Street Live in Boston with Mommy, Daddy, Mimi & Papi - was very excited driving into Boston and then seeing the sign for the show
- Watched the show but more excited about a balloon or the confetti - kept asking Mimi if it was done
- Went to a late lunch after the show, was able to keep him at the table for most of the meal
- Definitely has improved saying his 'S' and 'F'... in fact, he got so excited that he said 'four' & 'five' correctly that he spent half of the car ride to school counting to 5. He was very excited
- If he does something he shouldn't be doing and you tell him you're sad, he gets upset and will tell you "No Mommy, you happy, right?" or if he does something good or something you're proud of and you tell him that you're proud, he lights up and says "Mommy proud at me". It's very cute to see him happy when he does something good and he knows it
- Keeping an eye on strawberries to see if the little rash he had on his cheeks was due to strawberries
- The little things that he is saying is really catching me off guard, but it's hysterical!
