Week Thirty Six: At A Glance...
Week Thirty Six: At A Glance...Monday, November 26th - December 2nd, 2007
I'm afraid this week will be rather minimal on details & pictures due to a quiet week. After looking back, not a lot happened, and the majority of the pictures are the same of him sitting on the floor. Although I did say that it was a quiet week, Alexander did do something by himself but I'll mention that in a moment...
- He slept in his crib each night, waking up around 5-5:30am each morning
- Bedtime was around 7:30pm each night and he went down well
- Still has worn new outfits to school, no duplication yet...however, I feel that although I could keep that up but I want to get the money's worth (mainly Alyson's) out of the clothes and mix them up. We'll see...
- Had a good week at school, Miss Linda said he did very well and will jump in the exersaucer and laugh
- Has a cold this week: congestion, runny nose & coughing/wheezing as returned
- Solids this week: Applesauce, Squash, carrots, pears, bananas, peach cobbler, sweet potatoes
- Miss Linda says he's very hungry at school and loves carrots, she's even had to make a small extra bottle a couple times this week because she said he still wanted more.
- However, at home this weekend he didn't finish one bottle with us and would push it away
- Loves to play with plastic spoons & tupperware when sitting in his kitchen seat. He bangs them on his tray and throws them on the ground
- Lowkey weekend at home - hung out with Mommy & Daddy
- Took a 2 hour nap on Saturday
- He helped Mommy find the first two days on his very first Advent Calendar from Grammie (Mommy got to eat the chocolate)
- Loves to put his face down on his mirror and look up at you
- Still saying da-da and when you ask where is da-da he looks for Dan and will stop and look at him when he finds him
- He can also find his stuffed animal, Grover when you ask him "where is Grover?"
- Auntie Alyson came over on Sunday to help with the Christmas Card photoshoot (separate post)
- **After the photoshoot (drumroll please) Alexander pulled himself to a standing position hanging on to his carseat by himself. He did this a few times... watch out!
- Still no crawling or teeth - he may just go straight to the need of a cane & dentures
