Weekly Glance...

Weekly Glance (Monday, November 24th - Sunday, November 30th, 2008)

  • Started the week off at Grandpa & Grandma's house in NJ
  • Got to spend the morning playing with Grandma & Grandpa & having breakfast
  • Loved having Grandma get his breakfast or change his diaper
  • Woke up early almost every single day - sometimes REALLY early (2am!)
  • Very short week at school - only 2 days
  • Tuesday was Thanksgiving Feast at school...he wanted no part of it, but did taste the cranberry sauce a bit
  • Celebrated Thanksgiving over Grammie & Grampie's house - got to play with Chris & Claire
  • Did not want to nap on Thanksgiving even though he was quite tired ... became a bit fussy, thankfully Daddy got him down for a nap (even if it was for an hour)
  • Did not want to eat a drop of Thanksgiving dinner, nor did he want to sit at the table. He pulled Grammie away to help him play blocks rather than eat
  • Slept in Grammie & Grampie's room and slept 'in' til 5:30am (this means Mommy & Daddy slept 'in' themselves until 7:30am)
  • Went to the Mall to experience Black Friday...and it wasn't all that bad but then came back and napped from 12-2:30pm
  • After the nap, we all went out to dinner where Alexander had all of us (Mommy, Daddy, Grammie, Grampie & Alyson) singing at the table - complete with hand gestures!
  • We sang Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Wheels on the Bus & Itsy Bitsy Spider over and over and over
  • We did our Christmas Card photoshoot on Saturday morning and we think we got the right shot
  • After a nap & some playing with cars, flash cards, and his train, Alexander & Daddy went to uncle Matt's house for a few hours to play with cousin Michael (Mommy got to clean the house)
  • Tried to go get our Professional Christmas pictures taken on Sunday ... yah ... that was not successful at all.
  • Was a bit fussy in the afternoon but enjoyed playing with Grammie
  • Enjoyed his bath with some new bath toys
