Happy Birthday ...

Happy 2nd Birthday, Alexander!

Sunday evening, before bed, Mommy, Daddy & Alexander took a few moments to celebrate Alexander's birthday just the three of us. We gave him a piece of cake so he could blow out candles again (and again and again). He wanted no part of the actual cake.

We sang "Happy Birthday" a few times and he was so happy. He blew out his candles and then he opened his presents from Mommy & Daddy. But the odd/funny thing was that he wanted to open the presents while STANDING in the gift bag I had the presents in.

So, he opened them from inside the gift bag. He enjoyed his moment in the bag...
