Weekly Glance...

Weekly Glance (Monday, February 23rd - Sunday, March 1st, 2009)

• Had a good week at school despite random tantrums when Daddy picks him up at school
• Did a bit better with sleeping in the sense that he woke up at 5:30am as opposed to 5am most mornings - except for Mommy's morning on Sunday which was a bit earlier than 5am
• Had a very small, low-grade fever on Tuesday at school and then again at home Saturday night
• He can tell you how old he's going to be and gets very excited about it
• Daddy is starting to get him into the Smurfs (don't know where that came from)
• Mommy & Alexander had our weekly visit to Target where we ate hot dogs and he drank milk out of a box with a straw and did very well, he's also starting to get a crush on our cafe lady as he waves to her from across the little snack area and screams if she isn't paying attention
• Saturday, Daddy & Alexander went to play with cousin Michael and visit uncle Matt & aunt Laura - the boys played very well together
• Saturday night, Alexander kept asking to go to the store so we went out to dinner (which was not as successful as the last time) and then to the grocery store which Alexander loved but didn't want to sit in the carriage
• Had a slight fever but loves taking medicine and now lets us check his temperature in his ears without issues (he likes to check Monkey's ears after)
• Hung out at home for a low-key day as the weather was chilly/snowy - colored & made tents with Mommy
• After naptime on Sunday, we did a little photoshoot for his upcoming (yet quite small for us) birthday party
• LOVES tubby time (asked to take tubby every night), vacuuming, & Sir Topham Hat (from Thomas)
• Also loves blowing kisses as well as giving them, sometimes even without asking (it's so nice)
• New words: church (sounds a bit like dutch sometimes), milk, two
