Weekly Glance...

Weekly Glance (Monday, March 16th - Sunday, March 22nd, 2009)

• Alexander turns 2!
• Had a good week at school - lately has been asking for "Bee" alot. Ms. Bree is their music teacher who he used to be paranoid of, now he LOVES her
• Played outside a few days this week at school
• Trying to ween him off the cup of water before bed as it makes his diaper overloaded in the morning
• LOVES vacuuming - wants to do it every day
• Loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
• Mommy & Alexander went to Target for our weekly Thursday night hot dog, then we walked around the store with Alexander holding my hand and left their with nothing (we were very good)
• New words: oh my, oh dear, 'ahnee', bella
• Auntie Alyson is "ahnee"
• Was up early (5am) on Saturday & Sunday
• He wanted '"Ahnee" to do everything for/with him on Saturday
• Celebrated Alexander's 2nd birthday with a small party at home
• Was overwhelmed with people in the house even though it was a small crowd and family - he was frequently running over to be picked up and then cuddle a bit
• Got to see Grandpa & Grandma, Mimi & Papi, Ahnee, Matt, Laura, Mikey, the boys, Chris & Claire, Chris', Sue, Moira & Charles, Sean & Joann
• Played outside with his cousins during the party, then had cake & presents
• Whenever he's around Grandma C, she's the "lucky" one who gets diaper-changing duty. He won't let anyone else change his diaper but her when she's around (she got that duty 3 times this weekend)
• Went to uncle Steve & Carolyn's house on Sunday for Nick's confirmation party
• Loved eating meatballs
• Played outside on the swings, but never got a chance to see Bella (Steve & Carolyn's cat)
• Says 'Bella' but with the tongue hanging out of his mouth
• Had a mini-celebration at home on his actual birthday, just the three of us - he blew out candles, we sang Happy Birthday, and he opened presents from inside the gift bag
