Weekly Glance...

Weekly Glance (Monday, March 2nd - Sunday, March 8th, 2009)

• Had a good, yet short week at school
• Most mornings, woke up at 5:30am except for Monday when he woke at 4am but then fell back to sleep from 5:20-6am
• No school on Monday due to Snow Day
• Played with Daddy during the Snow day - played trucks but was a bit fussy due to the fever
• Because of his fever and overall not feeling well, he sat & cuddled with Mommy for almost a full hour Monday night watching Mickey Mouse before bed - he will cuddle but not for that long period of time
• No school on Tuesday due to slight fever on Monday
• Because he did not have a fever on Tuesday and he has to be 24-hr fever free, we ran errands Tuesday morning as Alexander loves to go to the store
• Went to CVS to get his photo for his birthday invite, then to the post office and then check-in with some of Mommy's friends and they adored him. He was very tired and we were bordering on naptime so I wasn't sure how he'd be, but he was in such great spirits walking around waving at all the ladies
• Did not want to go to bed on Tuesday and cried/fussed until 9pm! He wanted one of us in the room at all times until we finally were able to creep out and then let him cry
• His new tv show this week is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and he says 'Mickey' & 'Minnie' but loves to giggle at Goofy
• He's doing an excellent job of brushing his own teeth but we still play a game nightly where he tickle his mouth to get another brushing and it's one of his cutest, hardest laughs
• Daddy had Alexander duty for a few days as Mommy got really sick with the flu/cough and had to stay in bed (put him to bed in record time on Thursday night)
• Went to Children's Museum on Saturday with Daddy, Matt & cousin Michael and loved it
• Did not nap on Saturday but despite that wasn't that cranky
• On Sunday, Grammie & Grampie came over to visit
• With Grammie & Grampie, he played trucks & cars, colored, ran around/chasing, vacuumed, used his new Cat in the Hat straw, took a bath, had Grammie read books
• Calls Grammie "Mimi" and Grampie is now "Papi"
• New words this week: ba-bo (means boo-boo), lablahla (means water), hush, Mimi & Papi
• LOVES: Vacuum (wants to vacuum every day), his Monkey (starting to bring this with him everywhere), & watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (Daddy's trying to teach him the hot dog dance)
• New thing is to have water as we read books before bed
