Week Recap...

Week Recap (Monday, May 5th - Sunday, May 11th, 2008)

• Broke out into hives on Friday (went to see Dr. M and he said it was ok)
• Picks Mommy's nose during bedtime
• Saying all sorts of new sounds (different sounds, tones, & inflections)
• Words this week: turtle, water, dog, OK, all done
• Walking is improving when holding onto one hand
• Tried a new cup at Sharon's and was able to suck out of a straw
• Hates touching grass, he'll sit on it but he doesn't want to touch it with his hands or bare feet
• Loves watching cars drive by
• Went to the playground with Daddy after school
• Doing a lot of standing on his own and even letting go of objects before he realizes he's standing
• Didn't sleep all that well (fought 2nd naps & woke up a couple times during the night)
• Loved watching Daddy mow the lawn
• Spent Thursday afternoon in the Transition room, even took a nap in there on the mat
• Giggled for about 10 minutes when lying down on the mat
• Appears to be able to make himself burp and then laughs (also laughs when he farts - true boy fashion)
• Went to cousin Christopher's communion
• In a great mood all weekend, despite lack of sleep
• Celebrated Mother's Day with Mommy, Daddy, Alyson, Grammie & Grampie with a lowkey day at home
• Made a very pretty flower for Mother's Day with help from Daddy
• Showed everyone how he climbs the stairs like a pro
• Ate: Pancakes, cheese, hot dogs, carrots, mixed veggies, Peanute butter sandwich, roasted potatoes, angel food cake, scrambled eggs, meatballs, pudding, snack bars, and even tried a bite of pasta where he didn't spit it out (however he spit out the 2nd piece)
