Weekend Festivities...
This weekend was a B-U-S-Y weekend. Saturday we had cousin Christopher's First Communion and then on Sunday it was Mother's Day.
Saturday, we woke up at our normal time but rather than chilling out, we started to get things ready for a day out. Mommy got ready while Daddy fed him breakfast. Mommy & Alexander went to Christopher's communion while Daddy went to Skylar's communion so we were represented at both festivities. My hope was to leave early enough so that he would either a) sleep in the car or b) sleep for a bit at my Mother's house before church. Neither happened. We tried for a bit at my Mother's but he was too excited to see people that he was not having it. We left for the church and I was thinking that he may snuggle with someone and fall asleep since he was so tired. Nope.
He was very well behaved in church and only made one peep. But by the end you could tell he was getting fussy. At my uncle's house, we changed him into comfy clothes and set up the pack & play. By this time he was SO tired that he wouldn't eat. After some milk, I put him down in the pack & play. He cried quite hard but was practically asleep. He wouldn't move around but occassionally pick up the head only to lay it back down. After 5 minutes or so of crying, he fell asleep (thankfully).

It was a short lived nap - about 45 minutes! But...per usual he was in a great mood after the small catnap. He played with people, his chair, straps, and anything else he could touch. Then it was time to head home which thankfully after about 20 minutes, he finally fell asleep in the car.
